JEFF LOCKRIDGE I am 25 years old and live in Seneca. I started in broadcasting at the age of 15 as the extra-curricular activities correspondent for Seneca High School on WJDK and was hired by WCSJ-WJDK in Morris the very next year where I worked as a staff announcer and producer/engineer until my graduation from I.V.C.C. in the summer of 2002. Then I worked for WGEZ radio in Beloit, Wisconsin, from 2002 until the station was sold in 2004. I was then gainfully employed by WIBA-WTSO radio in Madison, Wisconsin, until Christmas of 2006 where I worked as a producer/engineer for several talk shows and sporting events and helped out with the Wisconsin Badger Radio Network as needed–Go Bucky!!
I returned to WCSJ and WJDK in the spring of 2007 as a staff announcer/producer engineer, and was named the producer of The Fishing Line and Outdoor Show heard on all the Nelson Stations. I additionally served as the interim news director for the Morris radio stations this past summer. In the fall of this past year I was named the new host of the Saturday Morning Oldies Show on WSPY-FM and enjoy helping the Fox Valley get their weekends off on the right foot with music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
A native of this area some of my favorite memories as a kid where going to the Sandwich Fair and Grundy County Speedway with my Mom and Dad. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, going fishing and hiking. I am a huge auto racing fan and an avid collector of Japanese manga (comic books) and animated television shows from Japan, and basically just being a computer geek.
