VICTORY LANE

John McCrory
I was born August 26, 1960 in the Long Island New York town of Roslyn, where I spent the first 22 years of his life. I grew up in a house where my father and I would watch every race that was shown on TV, and every Memorial Day featured the Indy 500 on the radio. Attended many races at local short tracks such as Islip, Freeport, and Riverhead, and road races at Bridgehampton, Lime Rock, and Watkins Glen.
In 1984, went to work at the Skip Barber Racing School, where I eventually managed the parts department that serviced the needs of a 90 car fleet of race cars. There I met my future wife, Cory, the sister of a Barber mechanic, and part of a large family of racers.
In 1990, I accepted a position in sales at the Aurora Bearing Company, with emphasis in the race car market. Today, I am a Race Car Product Manager for the company, dealing with teams and race car manufacturers worldwide. My wife and and I have four children and live in Sandwich, where Cory works in her home studio as a ceramic artist.
